A new Black History Month Lecture Series will take place throughout February, highlighting the contributions and stories of African Americans in our region. Local historians, community leaders, and educators will present weekly lectures focused on pivotal events, influential figures, and untold stories from our own backyard. The series aims to educate and inspire by connecting attendees with the rich heritage of the African American community. All events are free and open to the public.
