A special event will be held locally on National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Recognition Day to honor those who endured captivity and those still unaccounted for in military service. The program features a keynote address and a solemn reading of names of former prisoners of war and those missing in action. Community members, veterans, and families are invited to pay tribute and show support.
