Brooklyn thrives on communities that foster conversation and change, and that's exactly what Verso Books delivers with the Online Workshop: Writing for Change. This event speaks right to the heart of our neighborhood’s commitment to activism, intellectual exploration, and community dialogue. By empowering local voices to join the national conversation, Verso Books strengthens Brooklyn as a hub for progressive thinking and fearless storytelling. Writers, activists, and curious minds from across the borough will find not just education, but solidarity. Don’t underestimate the impact—this workshop is where Brooklyn writers shape the future of political non-fiction and make local ideas heard far and wide.
