Why the Youth Bike Safety Class Is a Win for Kalamazoo
Kalamazoo’s sense of community gets stronger every time we empower our youth, and this summer’s Youth Bike Safety Class at Open Roads Bike Program does exactly that. Open Roads, a beloved local nonprofit, provides more than just bike repair—it's a safe haven where kids build confidence, problem-solving abilities, and lifelong friendships.
With the free Youth Bike Safety Class, our young residents will gain crucial riding safety and basic maintenance skills. That means safer streets, healthier bodies, and kids equipped to be more independent and responsible. Plus, kids get to learn in Open Roads' inviting workshop, surrounded by mentors who care.
Events like this help Kalamazoo thrive by investing in our future. So whether you’re a parent or simply passionate about Kalamazoo’s well-being, spread the word and support the movement for safer, smarter, and happier young cyclists!
