San Francisco State University will be closed in observance of César Chávez Day, a holiday dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of civil rights leader César Chávez. If you plan to visit SFSU or conduct university business, please note that all facilities and offices will be unavailable for the day. SFSU’s lively campus atmosphere will be on pause as the university gives space to reflection and celebration of the values Chávez championed: dignity, respect, and social justice.
