'Into the Woods': Shining a Spotlight on Downey’s Local Talent This season, the spotlight turns to our very own Downey High School Drama Department as they perform 'Into the Woods.' More than just a musical, this event is a celebration of the creativity, hard work, and spirit of Downey’s youth. Hosted at the beloved Vic Lopez Auditorium, a centerpiece for local arts and culture, the musical offers our community a chance to come together and support young performers. Events like this strengthen the community bond, inspire future artists, and showcase the heart of Downey. Let’s come out in full force, cheer on our students, and fill the Vic Lopez Auditorium with community pride and applause. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a magical night that highlights why Downey is such a special place to call home.
