The Tower Theater has long been a pillar of Upper Darby’s cultural scene, and with the new Classic Cinema Film Series, it’s strengthening its role as a community gathering space. Showcasing legendary films from Hollywood’s golden age, this series invites neighbors, local film aficionados, and young movie lovers to connect over the shared experience of classic storytelling on the big screen. For Upper Darby residents, it’s not just a night out—it’s a chance to appreciate the history and creativity that shape our community, all within the iconic Tower Theater, which itself represents the artistry and spirit of the neighborhood. This event matters because it honors tradition, sparks conversation, and helps keep the arts thriving right here at home.
