Philadelphia families have a gem in their backyard: Woodmere Art Museum. The Children’s Storytime in the Galleries event is more than just an hour of stories—it’s a celebration of our community’s creativity and heritage. Held in Woodmere’s lovingly preserved historic mansion, surrounded by lush grounds and regional artwork, this storytime fosters community connections and early learning. It’s an opportunity for young children and their families to engage with local art, meet fellow Philadelphians, and experience the museum as a lively, welcoming space. Events like these highlight Woodmere Art Museum’s commitment to accessibility and education, making art and culture relevant to our youngest neighbors. For Philadelphia, Children’s Storytime isn’t just an event—it’s a meaningful piece of the city’s cultural mosaic.
