Philadelphia has a proud tradition of activism and inclusivity—and there's no better place to explore these ideals than the Presbyterian Historical Society. The upcoming Lecture: Faith and Social Justice connects our city's Presbyterian heritage with ongoing social justice efforts, highlighting the national movements that began right here. For local residents, this workshop is a chance to see how faith communities have shaped Philadelphia's narrative and contributed to positive change. The society's inviting and historic atmosphere reminds us that our history is alive and evolving. Whether you’re a lifelong Philadelphian or new to the city, attending this event is a meaningful way to celebrate and advance our local legacy of faith-driven community action.
