A Celebration of Local Legacy: The Verney Family Exhibition in Middle Claydon For the residents of Middle Claydon and surrounding Buckinghamshire villages, the Verney Family Exhibition is more than just an arts & culture event—it's a celebration of our community’s roots. Hosted at the cherished Claydon Estate, this special exhibition shines a spotlight on the enduring impact the Verney family has had right here at home. Their story is woven into the very fabric of our village and our local heritage, from shaping the architecture of the iconic Claydon House to influencing our customs and traditions. This event isn’t simply a look back; it’s an opportunity for locals to connect with each other, share memories, and take pride in the unique atmosphere of the stately estate we’re lucky to call a neighbour. The beautifully maintained gardens, artisan-led workshops, and inviting courtyard café reflect the welcoming spirit of Middle Claydon—a spirit that carries on through every event at Claydon Estate. Join us as we honour the Verney family and celebrate the culture that makes Middle Claydon such a special place. Bring your family, reconnect with your neighbours, and be part of a legacy that continues to shape our story.
