The Student Art Show: Nature in New York is an annual exhibit designed to showcase student artwork inspired by the diverse natural landscapes of the Empire State. Held in the distinguished Schermerhorn Hall at Columbia University, the show provides a unique setting: historic architecture meets vibrant educational atmosphere. Visitors can expect to see a broad range of art forms, from paintings and photography to mixed media, all focused on New York’s forests, rivers, parks, and wildlife. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply curious, this show offers an educational and visually engaging experience that highlights both the creativity of students and the rich natural heritage of the region. Open daily during building hours, the event invites the community to explore, learn, and appreciate the intersection where art meets ecology.
