For the Stanford community, 'Democracy in the Digital Age' isn't just another lecture—it's a vital opportunity to reflect on our role in shaping society. Hosted by the Hoover Institution inside Stanford University's inspiring campus, this event brings together faculty, students, and local residents to converse about the future of democracy right where world-changing ideas are born. Stanford’s close ties with Silicon Valley make this topic especially relevant. As digital innovations emerge from our own backyard, this lecture provides a forum to critically analyze their impacts on democratic values and civic life. It’s a chance for the Stanford community to lead the conversation, connect insights from research with real-world challenges, and reaffirm our commitment to academic excellence and social responsibility. Join us at Stanford University to explore, question, and contribute to this urgent dialogue.
