Ann Arbor Concert Band: Shattering Glass Series - "the Spectrum Of Sound"
The Ann Arbor Concert Band began its “Shattering Glass Series” in March 2024 with a concert dedicated to “Women in Winds". We followed this in Mach 2025 with “Colors of the Winds”. Each of these previous concerts, respectively, highlighted significant contributions of women and persons of color - composers and conductors - to concert band and wind ensemble repertoire. We continue our “Shattering Glass Series” with “The Spectrum of Sound” celebrating significant contributions of LGBTQ+ composers and conductors.
