About Civic Center Music Hall
Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, the Civic Center Music Hall is a historic performing arts venue that opened in 1937 as the Municipal Auditorium. Renamed in 1966, it now serves as the city's premier hub for Broadway shows, concerts, ballet, and other world-class performances. The facility features multiple performance spaces, including the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre seating up to 2,477 patrons, the Freede Little Theatre, and the Meinders Hall of Mirrors. This landmark building reflects elegant 1930s architecture and has been modernized for state-of-the-art acoustics and sightlines. It is home to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Oklahoma City Ballet, Canterbury Choral Society, and Lyric Theatre, and also hosts graduations, festivals, and special events throughout the year.
