About Auer Hall
Auer Hall is a 400-seat auditorium situated on the second floor of the Simon Music Center at Indiana University Bloomington. It boasts a high-beamed, coffered ceiling and features two side terraces, enhancing both acoustics and audience experience. The venue houses the renowned Maidee H. and Jackson A. Seward Organ, also known as C. B. Fisk, Op. 135, which includes nearly 4,000 pipes and was generously donated by the Seward family. Auer Hall is a premier space for concert performances and events hosted by the Jacobs School of Music. The hall was made possible through a $1 million gift from Ione B. Auer and continues to serve as a hub for music education and community engagement.
