Freed Center for the Performing Arts - Ada, OH

The Freed Center for the Performing Arts serves as the vibrant cultural hub for Ohio Northern University and the village of Ada. Located on the university campus, the venue boasts a 551-seat proscenium theater and a 136-seat studio theater, along with an art gallery and various support facilities for the performing arts. Open since 1991, it was the first building at ONU dedicated exclusively to the arts and is named in honor of Debow and Catherine Freed. The main performance space is the Biggs Theater, offering diverse events including musical theater, dance, and community performances. The center is renowned for its excellent facilities and engaging programming, enhancing both university and local community life.
