Kresge Auditorium is an iconic venue located on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Designed by renowned architect Eero Saarinen, the building was completed in 1955 and is celebrated for its innovative mid-century modernist architecture. The auditorium features a 1,200-seat performance hall as well as a 200-seat theatre, rehearsal rooms, and dressing rooms. It serves as MIT's primary performance facility for music, theatre arts, and visiting artists, hosting concerts, lectures, and colloquia. The venue underwent a major renewal project to enhance visitor comfort and modernize its facilities while maintaining Saarinen's original vision.
