Alabama Shakespeare Festival

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival is one of the ten largest Shakespeare festivals in the world. Since 1985, it has been housed in the Carolyn Blount Theatre, located in Montgomery, Alabama. The complex, set in a scenic 250-acre park, features two main stages: the 792-seat Festival Stage and the 225-seat Octagon Theatre. ASF is recognized as Alabama's State Theatre and is committed to engaging the community through outstanding theatrical performances and educational programs. The venue offers diverse programming, including classic plays, contemporary works, and youth education initiatives.
