The Masquerade - Altar

The Masquerade - Altar is a newly introduced 250-capacity room within Atlanta's iconic The Masquerade venue, located in Underground Atlanta's Kenny's Alley. Opened in 2024 as the fourth stage alongside Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory, Altar accommodates local and nationally touring artists from all genres and hosts monthly comedy weekends. This historic venue has a legacy dating back to 1989 and has hosted acts such as Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, and Foo Fighters. Visitors can expect a uniquely designed environment featuring four indoor rooms and a large brick open-air courtyard. The venue is a short walk from significant Atlanta landmarks and offers programming that spans rock, alternative, indie, electronic, metal, punk, and hip hop.
