The Met Presented by Highmark

The Met Philadelphia Presented by Highmark is a historic, newly renovated live entertainment venue located on North Broad Street in Philadelphia. Originally built in 1908 by Oscar Hammerstein as the Metropolitan Opera House, it underwent a complete renovation and reopened in December 2018. The venue hosts a wide variety of concerts and events, including performances by top artists and comedians, and is the largest non-arena facility in Philadelphia. Through its partnership with Highmark, a portion of every ticket sold supports music programs in local Philadelphia schools. The Met offers over 110,000 square feet of flexible design space, including elegant lobbies and a grand theater, ideal for both public events and private rentals.
