Thendara Station

Thendara Station serves as the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's northern terminus, located near Old Forge in Thendara, New York. The station offers scenic train rides throughout the year, including excursions to Otter Lake, Tupper Lake, and unique experiences like railbike adventures. During winter months, the railway right-of-way becomes a major snowmobile trail after train operations pause. The station is part of the Thendara Historic District and was designated a contributing property in 2010. Visitors can enjoy picturesque views of the Adirondack Park, comfortable facilities, and proximity to local restaurants.
