DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown - Lakeside

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown - Lakeside was a prominent hotel overlooking Lake Erie, conveniently located off I-90 in downtown Cleveland. The 379-room, 17-story property was one of the city's largest hotels, serving group and leisure travelers alike. In late January 2026, the hotel permanently closed after a planned sale of the property fell through, leaving a notable gap in Cleveland's hotel market. The hotel closure also resulted in job losses for approximately 66 employees. Any future plans for the building at its Lakeside Avenue location remain unclear following its closure and foreclosure.
