Pease Park

Pease Park is Austin’s first public park, spanning 84 acres of green space in the heart of the city. Operated and maintained by the Pease Park Conservancy in partnership with the City of Austin, it features shaded trails, limestone bluffs, and a variety of ecological environments. The park is home to cultural and educational events such as youth fitness classes, birding, puppet shows, and pollinator studies, making it a hub for community engagement. It is located at 1100 Kingsbury Street, with recent enhancements including the renovated Kingsbury Commons. Pease Park honors both its natural beauty and its layered history, offering recreational opportunities while celebrating Austin’s diverse heritage.
