Button Museum

The Button Museum in Chicago is the only museum in the world dedicated to pin-back buttons. Housed within Busy Beaver Button Co.’s office, the venue showcases over 30,000 historical and cultural buttons, covering categories such as political, art, advertising, music, and social causes. The museum offers a unique insight into American history, allowing visitors to appreciate how buttons reflect commentary from different eras. Visitors can view rare artifacts, including presidential inauguration buttons dating back to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln campaign pins. The museum welcomes guests for free, Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm, and encourages groups larger than six to schedule appointments.
