Vermont Studio Center

Founded in 1984 by artists, the Vermont Studio Center is a renowned non-profit arts organization located in Johnson, Vermont. It offers selective two-, three-, and four-week residency programs year-round for visual artists and writers from around the world. The campus features twenty restored historic buildings along the Gihon River, providing private studio spaces, comfortable accommodations, and three daily meals for residents. Distinguished visiting artists and writers regularly participate in talks, readings, and individual studio visits, creating a dynamic creative community. The center welcomes approximately 500 residents annually and provides both full and partial fellowships.
