About Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
Founded in 1916, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) is the largest cultural organization in the Inland Northwest, serving over 100,000 visitors annually. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution, the MAC is renowned for its diverse exhibits, educational programs, and stewardship of more than one million artifacts, including significant collections from Plateau Indian cultures. Located in Spokane’s historic Browne’s Addition, the museum campus features five underground galleries, an education center, the historic Campbell House, a library and archives, auditorium, and outdoor amphitheater. The MAC actively engages people of all ages through exhibitions, events, and community outreach that celebrate regional and national art, history, and culture. Admission includes access to all exhibits and the Campbell House, and the museum offers special programs and library passes for free entry.
