Emerald Downs

Emerald Downs is a premier Thoroughbred horse racing track located in Auburn, Washington, just south of Seattle. The venue first opened its doors on June 20, 1996, and was established as a replacement for the historic Longacres Racetrack. Owned by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, Emerald Downs is best known for hosting the prestigious Longacres Mile, a highlight of its annual racing calendar. The racetrack offers a modern facility for both live racing and special events, attracting fans from throughout the region. Easily accessible and situated a half mile east of Highway 167, Emerald Downs plays a central role in Washington’s horse racing community.
