Adler Planetarium

The Adler Planetarium is America’s first planetarium and a leader in public science education, located on Chicago’s Museum Campus. This historic venue features interactive exhibits, live shows in immersive domes, and engaging STEM education programs for visitors of all ages. It houses notable artifacts, including a moon rock and one of the world’s oldest sky simulators, the Atwood Sphere. The planetarium also hosts special events such as stargazing sessions at the Doane Observatory and offers free admission for certain groups on designated days.
