James T. Morris Arena

James T. Morris Arena is a brand-new athletics and convocation center located on the IU Indianapolis campus, designed to serve both university and community events. The 130,000 square-foot venue features seating for 4,500 patrons and hosts indoor sports, such as basketball, volleyball, and wrestling, with flexible, retractable seating for multi-purpose use. Its architectural highlights include a signature roofline, large expanses of glazing for natural light, and rich Indiana limestone, integrating harmoniously with surrounding campus structures. The arena addresses a regional need for mid-sized sports venues in Indianapolis and is adjacent to the NCAA headquarters, within walking distance of downtown. Named in honor of James T. Morris, it stands as a landmark venue strengthening Indianapolis's status as a top-tier sports and entertainment city.
